RofGo Collection of Gulf Racing Cars
The RofGo collection is a unique collection of original racing cars in the legendary Gulf colors. The owner, Roald F. Goethe, discovered his passion for Blue & Orange Race Cars in the 1960s, when the JW Automotive Gulf Team dominated the endurance race of the sports car championship. In 2008 he laid the foundation stone for this unique collection with a factory Ford GT40, which now includes 38 Racing Cars in Blue & Orange.

GULF RACING, STEVE MCQUEEN
From the mid-sixties to the early seventies the light blue and orange Gulf race cars were the stars at sportscar championships.

In 1968, GULF RACING celebrated the first win by a Gulf racecar at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans when Pedro Rodriguez and Lucien Bianchi took the checkered flag in a Ford GT40.
The victory marked a true milestone in Gulf´s illustrious history in motor sport. THE STORY
Steve McQueen financed and produced the 1971 film Le Mans at a high risk for himself, but created a racecar driver epic that still fascinates today.
